Sono state annunciate le nomination ai Grammy Awards 2020, i più importanti premi dell’industria discografica statunitense, attribuiti ai musicisti americani con una valutazione che tiene in grande considerazione i risultati di vendite e la popolarità. La cerimonia si terrà il 26 gennaio allo Staples Center di Los Angeles in California.
Billie Eilish ha fatto incetta di nomination e soprattutto nelle quattro categorie più importanti con il suo disco d’esordio “When we all fall asleep, where do we go?” (con i singol “Bury a friend”, “Wish you were gay” e “Bad guy”). Anche Lizzo ha ottenuto otto nomination e il rapper Lil Nas X ne ha ottenute sei come Billie Eilish. Per l’Italia spicca la nomination di Andrea Bocelli per il “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album”.
Bene Beyoncé si candida per il “Best pop solo performance”, “Best song written for visual media” e nella categoria “Best music film”.
